In All Your Ways-Acknowledge Him

Autor Dee Hellman
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 11 mar 2014
The Real Adjustment Bureau is about giving a voice to my generation. We don't seem to have any of the great writers that my parents or grandparents generations had. Authors like Twain, Thoreau, Kerouac, Burroughs, Wolfe and many others inspired movements and lifestyles and brought the ideas of their generations to the public. They spread their message and point of view through the written word, and it seems that this is now a lost art. I want the world to know how young Americans think these days. I want to put our point of view out there for the world to see, and though many may disagree with my ideas, I know there are many who agree as well. Many feel lost and without direction and as if this country is headed downhill. We worry about what kind of future there is for us in this world that is seemingly dominated by a small minority of rich and powerful people. I want to inspire new ideas and new movements that are controlled by the youth of our great country. To remind people what America is supposed to stand for and to show how far off the path we have strayed. People should not have to fear their governments, but governments should fear their people. This country was built on revolutionary thinking and this is my attempt at making up for the apathy of the youth of America. It seems many of us are resigned to accepting whatever the powers that be have in store for us, because we feel we have lost our control and that we no longer live in a true Democracy. I want things to change and I want to be heard. I want to live up to the great men and women of past generations who inspired amazing progress in this country in our short history. This is the voice of the youth of America.
