iMod: Immersion Math Oral Drills is an audio-lingual approach to mathematics. The 52 lessons reviewed are NCTM correlated oral drills in the areas of numbers & operations, problem solving code words, measurements, data analysis, algebra, and geometry. Drills were designed using the Rassias Method for Second Language Acquisition. The drills in this book treat math as a language which must be repeatedly rehearsed to allow for proper recall in any form of evaluation. The lessons on Problem Solving Code Words Mnemonics for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are applicable to many standardized tests from Grades 3 thru GED. All oral drills are in Spanish.
