Rizki Amalia is an illustrator from Indonesia. Her love for drawing began at an early age. She was always immersed in hands-on activities, from crafts to painting. Later on, her parents encouraged her to follow her passion in art by giving her a private art course and enrolling her in high school where she majored in 2D animation. Years later, this blossomed into a deep passion for children's book illustration rather than animation. She loves working with colour and small details to create story-filled worlds that invite viewers to linger. Her art style is bright and cheerful with characteristics including bold, vibrant colours, and simplified character designs, prioritising visual stimulation and tailored for babies, toddlers and young children. She also loves working on multicultural, inclusive, and diverse children's books.


On a perfect Sunday, you'll find her either cozying up and painting at home with her daughter or exploring new places under the sun. Ultimately, she hopes to be remembered as a cheerful soul who brightened others' lives through art.
