Another picture perfect day on the water, or so it may seem. This photo is special for what is taking place on the inside. Just four days earlier, I received the third round of chemotherapy treatments for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. These healing chemicals are rapidly taking a toll on my body, and at the same time, my soul is being strengthened by a God that loves. As this life consuming struggle progressed, a whirlwind of emotions developed and an outlet was needed. On one special night, the Holy Spirit moved me to begin sharing my journey. Seeing my thoughts on paper was part of the healing process that I never knew existed. It helped grow a powerful bond with God. Heaven even allowed me to borrow a pen to write these words.
