I Hear the Flowers Sing is the second book in the Cry for the Children trilogy.
Rebecca Fletcher, introduced in Cry for the Children: A Novel (Book One), survived horrendous abuse and other trauma from infancy. A psychic intuitive, her mind appeared to be shattered. Rebecca had developed Multiple Personality Disorder (Dissociative Identity Disorder) to cope with her past.
As she traveled on her journey to healing, freedom, and hope, she and Michael found each other and their adventure together began.
New characters are introduced and the love story between Rebecca and Michael unfolds.
This is a stand alone book but will make more sense and be more powerful if the entire series is read in order to follow Rebecca and Michael through their life journey to hope and healing. It is different from most books on the subject because part of the dialogue is from the alters themselves and their own points of view.
This book is a work of fiction and any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is coincidental or used fictitiously. The trilogy saga of Rebecca and Michael's life and that of their new family will be completed in the third and last book. The Starshine Bird is currently being completed and expected to be published in 2026.
