Katrin is a German-born language teacher but moved to Australia and became an illustrator. Katrin creates quirky illustrations that feature different media. Her first picture book The World's Worst Pirate by Michelle Worthington has been awarded Notable Book 2018 by the Children's Book Council of Australia. In 2021, her first authored and illustrated picture book A Perfect Pig was published by Scholastic Australia. Katrin also loves to illustrate for other authors than herself and has worked with Walker Books, Page Street Kids and Larrikin House.
Dani Vee is a children's author, publisher, podcaster and educator. She was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. Dani is the author of bestselling picture books My SUPERCHARGED ADHD Brain and My SPINNING Anxious Brain. Her junior fiction titles include Riley's FAILPROOF Guide to Breaking a School Record and My Pet Croc. She enjoys writing humorous books that provide opportunities for discussions about breaking stereotypes and resilience.
