I Am Musical

Barbara Brown is an elementary music teacher in New Jersey who finds joy in teaching young children how to stay in love with music. With a graduate degree in ethnomusicology from Barnard College, Columbia University, and a masters in music education from Montclair State University, Brown works to create curriculum content that allows children to explore music as a part of their humanity. With the support of her real dog, Waffles, Brown has written this book to give both music teachers and parents the opportunity to remind their children that being musical is not something you become, but rather something you will always be.
