Bridget George (Nimkiinagwaagankwe) was raised on the shores of Lake Huron in the traditional territory of her people in Kettle and Stony Point First Nation. She is the Anishinaabe author-illustrator of It's a Mitig! and the illustrator of Too Much: My Great Big Native Family, This Land, The Animal People Choose a Leader, The Inquisitive Raven, and Autumn Peltier, Water Warrior. Bridget lives in London, Ontario, with her son, Noah, and cat, Captain Rex.
