U.S. Army Ranger Colt Mercer calls it quits after three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, but he continues to be tormented by images of the killings he's seen and done. Stuck in an emotional no-man's land full of anger and guilt, believing no one could love him and even God has abandoned him, Colt heads to Alaska to try and fill the void.
