How to Parent with ADHD
Autor Geraldine Kostrewaen Limba Engleză Paperback – 29 apr 2027
Does playing with your child leave you deeply overstimulated? Do routines fall apart no matter how hard you try? Are the parenting 'hacks' everyone swears by somehow making your life even harder?
The problem isn't you. Most parenting advice simply wasn't designed with an ADHD brain in mind.
ADHD coach Geraldine Kostrewa knows that parenting when you're neurodivergent comes with its own unique challenges. Drawing on science, real-life experience and tried-and-tested techniques, she shows you how to stop fighting your brain and start parenting in a way that actually works for you.
Discover how to:
- Build dopamine-friendly routines you can actually stick to
- Handle an 'I hate you!' without being struck by rejection sensitivity
- Keep yourself and your child emotionally regulated - and keep one meltdown from turning into two
- Create a happier, healthier family dynamic, whatever your family's neurotype
Compassionate, practical and refreshingly realistic, this is the parenting guide for anyone who has ever wondered: how does everyone else make this look so easy?
You don't need to become a different kind of parent. You need just strategies that complement the parent you already are.
