How Quality Happens

Autor Jordan Chapman
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 29 iun 2027
How the world's most iconic brands—from Apple to Zeiss—turn exceptional quality into the ultimate competitive advantage.

"Quality is the best business plan," according to John Lasseter, former Chief Creative Officer at Pixar. But Pixar is just one of the legendary companies to feature in How Quality Happens, a compelling new manifesto on the strategy, standards, and struggle behind making the best products in the world.

What does it take to operationalize quality? And how do great businesses maintain a focus on quality as they scale? These are the key questions that corporate strategist Jordan Chapman seeks to answer as he explores the hidden "logistics of quality".

From Apple to Zeiss, via The New Yorker and Nvidia, LEGO and LVMH, Patagonia and Pixar—and more besides—Chapman gives us the inside track on what makes these generational companies excel, consistently outperforming expectations to produce uncommon value.

How Quality Happens reveals the hidden stories behind the products we revere. More than just a behind-the-scenes look, it serves as a practical guide for founders, entrepreneurs, and operators who want to reverse-engineer quality at scale, and turn the highest standards into enduring commercial success.
