Historical Studies, VII: Papers Read Before the Irish Conference of Historians: Routledge Revivals

Editat de J. C. Beckett
en Limba Engleză Hardback – oct 2026
First published in 1969, Historical Studies, VII is a collection of papers presented at the eighth Conference of Irish Historians, held at Queen’s University Belfast in May 1967.
Three of the papers examine Ireland and Anglo-Irish relations, addressing the interpretation of twelfth-century Irish history, Anglo-Irish monetary policies between 1172 and 1637, and Irish MPs at Westminster in the early nineteenth century. The remaining papers cover medieval Scotland during the reign of William the Lion, social legislation in Britain and the United States in the early twentieth century, and Pius XII and Nazi Germany in historical perspective.
