Summoned to a remote Alaskan research station, Forensic Anthropologist Hannah Fraser expects a routine recovery-until she discovers a boy entombed in ice. Perfectly and impossibly preserved. And somehow... alive.
When the ice begins to thaw, something awakens within him. A single bite is all it takes. Violence spreads through the isolated station as researchers turn on one another, and the frozen outpost becomes a prison of blood and fear.
With evacuation impossible and time running out, Hannah joins forces with Xavier Evans, the station's Head of Security, to uncover what was really trapped in the ice.
Because the boy is only the beginning, and something deadly has been released inside the station.
And once it spreads beyond the ice, there may be no way to stop it...
