Notă biografică

Marianna D'Ezio completed a PhD in English Literature at the University of Rome "Sapienza" and has been Adjunct Professor of English in several Italian universities (Cassino and Perugia). She lives and works in Italy, where she also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Italian at the University of California Rome Study Center and is currently teaching International Baccalaureate literature courses at Marymount International College. Her research interests focus on eighteenth-century literature and travel writing, with special attention to women writers. She participated in many conferences worldwide (India, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain), and has published many articles on eighteenth-century women travelling to Italy - Lady Mary Wortley Montagu, Mary Berry, Elizabeth Gaskell - as well as miscellaneous articles on various topics. For Cambridge Scholars Publishing she edited a collection of essays entitled Literary and Cultural Intersections during the Long Eighteenth Century (2008).
