Sharing these experiences related in Heart's Rest made it possible for my husband and me to open up to each other and discuss things we had never been able to talk about since we lost our twin daughters.

Author Kathryn Popio suddenly lost her thirteen-year-old son, Macaulay, in 1988. Her chronicled steps toward healing will inspire and uplift others who have lost a child.

Kathryn Popio is an author and educator who has written articles and inspirational poetry for a variety of denominational publications. She currently teaches at The University of Akron and Kent State University in Ohio.
