Mercy O'Reilly is a fifteen year old wanna-be musician. And why not? Her father is world famous rocker, The Griffin, and her mother used to be a groupie. The only problem is: the music won't come. Her love--and talented bass player--Tim, convince her to live with The Griffin and when he comes to town with his band on the band bus, Mercy's mother parties too hard, does the unthinkable, and The Griffin flees before Mercy can make her case.
