Subjective well-being is related to one's satisfaction with life and is closely associated with positive emotions. It appears that individuals with higher levels of well-being tend to be more creative, more optimistic, less vulnerable to chronic diseases, have longer life span, and increased sociability, trust and have less self-centeredness.
