She can't believe her daughter's former second-grade teacher and the head of the town's Youth Center is the murderer. Candi joins forces with disabled Army veteran, Johnny Edwards, to find the real killer. But they didn't anticipate receiving threatening notes or being kidnapped at gunpoint.Hangnails is the debut of a new mystery series featuring Candi DeCarlo and the quirky folks who live in the quaint little town of Bartonsville, Indiana.
