Haiku Applecart is the first collection of contemporary American haiku authored by Susan August. It contains 360 haiku, and addresses various themes: in season, here and there, at the table, creature features, at play, two legged beasts, at work, and whatnots. The haiku ranges from scenic to whimsical, philosophical, and beyond.
