Nina Jackson is an ordinary 13 year old girl living with her family in Brighton. One evening, while doing her homework, she transforms into a vampire for the first time. After attacking people in the street to feast on their blood, Nina has to find out why. She must discover a way to stop it happening before even more people get hurt. Nina's battle against vampires and her own vampirism takes her and her friends on a perilous journey far from home.
