According to Pandora Radio, stand-up comedian Sally Brooks unleashed " a relentless wit on her debut album." She now turns that same wit to a topic she can't seem to shut up about; her 2003 thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Sally is a lifelong wanderer. She comes by it honestly; as an Air Force brat, she' d already lived in 5 states and one foreign country by the time she reached the 4th grade (she's called 2 more countries and 6 states home in the years since). She completed the Long Trail in 2001, the Appalachian Trail in 2003, and remains an avid hiker despite her tendency to stumble every time she steps into the woods. She lives in Atlanta with her very patient professor husband and their very impatient and adorable 7-year-old. When she's not in the woods, Sally is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, writer and podcaster. After abandoning a career as a lawyer, she went from telling jokes at bar open mics in Cincinnati, Ohio, to headlining some of the top clubs and venues in the country. Her first album, "Brooks Was Here" debuted at the top of the Apple Comedy charts. According to Pandora Radio "Sally Brooks unleashed a relentless wit on her debut album." Her second album, "Street Bird" came out in October 2022 with Helium Records and debuted at #1 on both Apple Music and Amazon. She is the co-host of the popular comedy podcasts Dumb Love and The Ridiculist. Sally is the co-host of the comedy podcasts The Ridiculist and Dumb Love (featured in the Atlanta Journal Courier and Shoutout Atlanta).
