A 21st century father and his son bond as they travel stormy seas aboard a 17th century frigate with Captain Kidd. They are joined by friends and must work together to find their way home. Captain Kidd faces his own problems as the ships crew turn mutinous. He is labeled a traitor to England as he fights for his life and reputation.
