When Dan Connor, the Dover Demon, is pursued by bounty hunters, he seeks sanctuary in Fox Hollow in the Adirondack Forest. Dan inherited the spirit from his grandfather, a family legacy, but had little chance to learn how to handle his "other side" before the magic passed to him. A run-in with cryptid-focused podcasters puts Dan and Wally, his daemon side, in danger, and he lands in Fox Hollow hoping for sanctuary.
Park Ranger Quinn Wilson becomes Dan's protector, and sparks fly between them.
