Many believers really don't know what Glory is. They may think it is power, or light; something that occurs mainly in heaven or at Christmas time. So if we don't know what Glory is, how can we give it to God? How do we even know that we gave it correctly? And consider the riveting events happening in our earth today. It seems as if the world has gone berserk. Wars and rumor of more wars, birds dropping dead from the sky, increased violence and mean spiritedness, unpredictable and damaging weather, terror and cyber coordinated terrorism. There's some tragedy in every news cycle for which one shakes one's head. What in the world is going on? Answer: Glory. God's glory is on the rise. God's glory has moved 'one inch' closer to earth. All of the events listed are examples of the world system's failure and demise in the presence of Glory. Spoiler alert: that bold assignment that God has laid on your heart to accomplish? You're going to need God's Glory richly operating in your life to get it done. The same Glory that is shaking down the world is shaping up God's people. The same Glory that exposes the inferiority and utter failure of worldly logic reveals the superiority and excellency of God's wisdom. The same Glory that, by its very purity, wreaks havoc in the perverse world system provides the power and resources through which your destiny in Christ will come to pass. In fact now is the greatest of times for the saints to walk in the Glory of God. You are part of that blessed generation of believers that will boldly arise and shine in Jesus' Name Isaiah 60:1 exhorts us: Arise, shine, for your light has come and the Glory of the Lord rises upon you. As you read this book, and especially soak in the scriptures, I pray that you will appreciate the Glory of God. And as you grow in the knowledge of God's will and understand the role of Glory in sanctification's process, may you become a powerful and stunning representative of God's glory.
