Glamor Lost

Autor Roberto Scribner
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 9 noi 2026
Don't search for a hero. Become one.
Fourteen-year-old Malhela is a prisoner in her own golden skin. Her Glamor renders her beautiful and invulnerable, but isolates her from all sensation, leaving her the lonely future ruler of a society oppressed by the tyranny of caste and mask.
In a coup, purity-obsessed Magiistos murder her father and flay the golden Glamor from her flesh. Two suns glare down on Malhela as she crawls away from the obsidian Great Wall encircling the kingdom, mutilated and banished.
To survive, she must find strength in her scars. To regain her throne, she must forge alliances with fellow outcasts: a beautiful mountain maiden offering a dangerous love; a fearsome stone bear; and a feral wolf-boy whose only family is his bone knife.
Malhela embarks on a quest for hope, love, and heroism among the traumatized to rescue her beloved and unite the denizens of the Seven Rings. If she fails, the Magiistos will damn the world to a twisted form of genetic slavery. But to light the fire of rebellion, she will have to embrace the terrible darkness at the heart of her lineage.
Glamor Lost is the dark, mind-bending, and plot-twisting start to the Malhela Tetralogy, a fantasy saga that will keep you guessing until the very last page.
