This booklet, originally published by the military surplus firm of Francis Bannerman Sons in 1921, is a general description of the German Gew 98 rifle, Kar 98A and Sniper rifle and the various types of bayonets used by the Germans during WWI. The authors gained much of this information examining captured specimens at the Springfield Armory, West Point, and the Army Supply Base at Port Newark. N. J.
