Popular PBS GardenFit hosts Madeline Hooper and Adam Schersten have traveled the country visiting the gardens of some notable people—from Alice Waters, to Frances Palmer to Bunny Williams. Madeline, an enthusiastic gardener, started the show when she began to have such consistent pain in her neck and back that she was unable to continue gardening comfortably. After seeking a personal trainer, she was inspired to teach others how to care for their bodies in the garden.
