Recenzii
"This useful book provides an overview of the key techniques that are essential parts of the modern exploration toolkit. It is intended for both geoscientists involved in mineral exploration and the data processing specialists who support them.... [It's] written for practitioners, assuming a considerable background in relevant aspects of geology and mineralogy, and often uses specialized terms and acronyms. The scope is global, as there are contributions from 26 authors, representing academic institutions in eight countries. The editors have done an excellent job in maintaining a uniform style and layout throughout. The high quality of the graphics deserves mention (there are 140 figures, and most are in color). Each chapter has extensive references, with more than 1400 in all. Despite the limited coverage of several topics, this book should be a valuable reference for anyone actively working in mineral exploration." — William R. Green, The Leading Edge, August 2024
