The Book of Proverbs, written for instruction in wisdom and holy living, offers godly insights for everyday life. The proverbs of Solomon direct us to take action: 2-To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3-To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4-To give subtility to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. Proverbs 1:2-4 In Ecclesiastes, Solomon declares, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14 We experience God's blessings as we keep God's statues, honoring Him with our lives.
