Susan Steinke is a California native who loves traveling and possesses a sense of adventure. Through her husband's U.S. military and subsequent federal service she has embraced the Army lifestyle as a spouse, enjoying and learning as much as possible about her new environment. She has lived in California, Oregon, Indiana, Virginia, Massachusetts, Missouri, and Oklahoma. She has traveled Europe extensively with her family while living in Italy, France and Germany. Her desire to share her lessons inspired her to write this book. She is currently living with her family in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area, continuing to explore Italy, Spain, Austria...and beyond!
