Randy befriends Gabriel, a boy who just "appears" on the block; however, one late afternoon Randy discovers that Gabriel isn't your average child. Through their adventures Gabriel learns the meaning of grace, and Randy learns the power of prayer; and although their encounter is short-lived, their friendship will last a lifetime.
