From Group Dynamics to Group Psychoanalysis: Therapeutic Applications of Group Dynamic Understanding: Psychology Revivals

Editat de Morton Kissen
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 2 noi 2026
Originally published in 1976, From Group Dynamics to Group Psychoanalysis, came from the editor identifying a gap in the literature when attempting to assemble conceptual and clinical reading material for a graduate course entitled Group Process. He found there was no single text available containing integrated groups dynamics source materials relevant to the psychoanalytic group treatment modality.
The carefully selected articles in this volume fall along a continuum stemming from nontherapeutic t-groups at the one end to psychoanalytic psychotherapy groups at the other. The common denominator unifying all these articles is their relevance for a sophisticated and clinically useful integration of group dynamic processes within the essential framework of a group psychoanalytic model of psychotherapy. Today it can be read in its historical context.
