To err is human
To forgive is divine


Forgiving takes you closer to God
It purges your soul
It helps you get rid of the pain
It helps you to get over bad words, bad acts, and bad people
It helps you to get over the human evil.
It is an end of a process of liberating yourself
Most importantly it helps you to break off the chains of victimhood
Forgiving is a healing


We usually associate forgiving with people who did something to hurt us
But forgiving is also about us - we have to forgive ourselves for being victimised
And, of course, we have to try to forgive ourselves when we were the ones to hurt other people
Or, have you ever thought to forgive yourself for your personal flaws and imperfections?
Or, how about forgiving your fate and the way your life has evolved


Forgiving - so much needed and yet so much avoided
But once you get there, it is like a spring sun after a long and cold winter
It fills you with joy and hope for the future
