This book is not only to do with forgiveness, but incorporates a lot more - negative feelings such as envy, jealousy, slander and the like. The negative feelings and thoughts released propagate, and there is an ongoing perpetuation in life about which we wonder. To change one's thinking we have to become aware of our thoughts and start to break the habit of negative thinking - turning it into love and loving thoughts instead. Forgiveness is a part of this process.
