Nichole Van is a photographer, designer, and author of numerous series, including The Earls of Cairnfell, The Penn-Leiths of Thistle Muir, and The Brotherhood of the Black Tartan. Though originally from the Rocky Mountains, she has lived all over the world, including Italy and the UK. She and her family recently returned to the US after spending six years in northeast Scotland.
