This is a fictional story of a black man and a white man brought together in death through the tragedy of an automobile accident. They find that they need each other's love and understanding in order to enter heaven. They have very negative views of each other's race. Since they don't know each other, they apply those negative views in dealing with one another. They both proclaim they are not racists. They have come from very different worlds and have never been willing to take the time to learn about others, only focusing on the narrowness and ignorance of the limited exposure they have had to others to form what they believe. A messenger from God intervenes to gently force them to talk and listen in order to develop a better understanding of one another, as well as one's self. Can this possibly work?
