Emma Logan, best selling author, wife and mother is quite happy in her present situation living in Ventura, CA. She's stayed away from past and family until Helen Weiss, her free-spirited cousin arrives in town. Recently widowed in a tragic accident and losing the only man who has ever loved her, Helen, moves to Ventura in search of family.
