When a French bulldog follows her nose, murder is on the menu.
Pet-sitting a French bulldog should be fun-until the mischievous Nettie escapes, returning dusted in an odd white powder. Curious and concerned, Dr. Emily Benton teams up with her best friend Anthony and his partner, Marc, to track the determined pup's secret excursions. Their search leads them straight to Sweet Tide Bakery... and to the shocking discovery of a murdered food blogger.
As Emily digs deeper, Nettie's powdery trails reveal more than just a love of baked goods-they uncover a prized lavender-infused flour tied to the bakery's sudden success. But beneath the sweet aroma lies a bitter feud over inheritance, stolen recipes, and mounting greed.
With danger escalating, Emily must rely on her instincts-and a pair of surprisingly helpful dogs-to unravel the truth. When a kidnapping attempt brings everything to a head, the culprit is finally revealed. In Coral Shores, even the coziest corners can hide deadly secrets.
