Notă biografică

Katheryn Maddox Haddad grew up in northern USA and now lives in India where she doesn't have to shovel sunshine. She basks in 100-degree weather with banana trees, monkeys, and a computer with most of the letters worn off.Besides the US and India, she has lived in four other countries ~ Korea, Canada, Afghanistan, and Abu Dahbi, and has made short visits to Tokyo and Sri Lanka.With a bachelor's degree in English, Bible and history from Harding University and part of a master's degree in Bible from the Harding Graduate School of Theology (including Greek), she also has a master's degree in human relations from Abilene Christian University. In addition to her seventy-seven books (non-fiction, novels, and storybooks), she has written numerous articles for Gospel Advocate, Twentieth Century Christian, Firm Foundation, Christian Bible Teacher, Christian Woman, and several world mission publications. Her weekly column, Little-Known Facts About the Bible, appeared several years in newspapers in North Carolina and Texas.She spends half her day writing and the other half teaching English over the internet worldwide using the Bible as a text book. She has taught nearly 10,000 Muslims over 15 years in the Middle East. Students she has converted to Christianity are in hiding in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Palestine. "They are my heroes," she declares.Currently, she also teaches Bible history at the MH School of Theology in Punadipadu, Krishna, Andhra Pradesh, India.She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Historical Novel Society, the American Historical Association, World History Association, World Archaeological College, Association of Ancient Historians, and Archaeological Research Institute.Oh, and for her next birthday, she plans to ride an elephant.
