Peter Straub e un scriitor de nisa horror, este partea literara a genului.Floating Dragon este literar, este o lectura pretentioasa dar recompensele sunt pe masura.La fel ca Ghost Story, Shadowland sau Lost Boy, Lost Girl incepe incet si in primele 200 de pagini doar te acomodezi cu personajele.Ia avant insa si se transforma in ceva neasteptat. Este Floating Dragon inspiratie pentru IT al lui King?Sau pentru Phamtoms al lui Koontz? Tripticul horror al anilor 80 in care teroarea se abate asupra oraselelor mici din America inseamna Floating Dragon, Phantoms si IT. Peter Straub authored numerous bestselling novels, including Ghost Story, Floating Dragon, Shadowland, and Julia—as well as The Talisman and Black House, which he co-authored with Stephen King. He also published short fiction, poetry, and a graphic novel. A prolific Grand Master of Horror, he won the British Fantasy Award; ten Bram Stoker Awards; three International Horror Guild Awards; ten World Fantasy Awards; and was the recipient of several Lifetime Achievement Awards.
