Flight chronicles the evolution of Black/African Studies and explores its potential for for spearheading contemporary efforts to confront various intellectual and social challenges. Exploring a wide breadth of subject matters these essays challenge persisting misconceptions that African Studies is simply the uncoordinated study of the experience of people of African descent.
