What if you're more capable than you think?
We're living through a time of extraordinary change. Technology is transforming how we live, work, connect, and lead, expanding what's possible and challenging us to think differently about the future and our role in shaping it. However, when the world is moving this fast, it's easy to question where you fit, what difference you can make, and whether you're ready.
But what if you don't need to feel ready?
In First Movers: Courageous Leadership for a Human Future in the AI Era, Yasmin London explores what happens when people stop waiting for certainty, permission, or confidence, and start acting on what matters to them. Drawing on her journey as an international gold medallist athlete, NSW police officer, entrepreneur, and technology leader, she weaves memoir, leadership strategy, history, mythology, and cultural commentary to reveal why courage comes before confidence and how taking action can change far more than your own trajectory.
Along the way, Yasmin challenges assumptions about who gets to lead and whose voices matter, showing what becomes possible when you recognise the power you already have to speak up, step forward, and make a difference.
First Movers is for anyone who has ever held back because they didn't feel ready. It is a call to find the courage to move and discover what becomes possible when you're willing to take the first step.
