Notă biografică

Paul K. Hooker is recently retired as Associate Dean for Ministerial Formation and Advanced Studies at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is author of several books and articles in the field of biblical studies, including 1 and 2 Chronicles, and a previous collection of poems, Days and Time: Poems from the Liturgy of Living.

Descriere

In the wake of the exile in Babylon and subsequent restoration to its homeland, Israel struggled to answer basic questions about its religious faith. Hooker's ultimate purpose here is to sketch the lines of Israel's future as the people of God by drawing on the resources of Israel's past.
