Findus the cat and farmer Pettson live in a red farmouse in the Swedish countryside. They have a henhouse, workshop and toolshed, set amongst forest, fields and meadows. One day, Findus finds a tent in the attic, Pettson starts imagining how it would be to go camping by the lake, catching fish and grilling them over the fire as the sun sets. This is not exactly how things turn out, as Findus, Pettson and the hens try camping - in the garden. An amusing and engaging story for reading aloud to 3-7 year olds who will love the illustrations and for 5-7 year olds to read for themselves.
