'Have you ever noticed how the word "art" is buried right inside the word "heart" - that's got to mean something right?'

Finch's baby brother did not come into the world the way he was supposed to, namely alive. Now everything is falling apart, including her parents' marriage. But when a painting in a museum suddenly comes to life, seemingly just for her, Finch begins to wonder whether the extraordinary might be right in front of her, if only she lets herself see it. Seduced by the brushstrokes of the painting, Finch is lured into it and lands on the island of Musica, where both her adventure and healing begin.
