Notă biografică

Dr Christina YL Aye completed a DPhil in cardiovascular medicine from the University of Oxford followed by an NIHR Clinical Lectureship. Her focused research interest is in fetal and maternal cardiovascular consequences of pregnancy complications closely aligning with her subspecialty training in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She has received academic awards and has been a co-applicant on several prestigious research grants including an MRC Programme Grant. She is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Oxford having published over 20 original articles to date. She is the principal investigator for several clinical trials within the University of Oxford.Dr Christos Ioannou is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. For his admission at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, he was awarded the RCOG Prize Medal in 2008. He obtained his DPhil from the University of Oxford in 2013 for his research in vitamin D insufficiency in pregnancy. He has been a research collaborator in multicentre studies such as INTERGROWTH 21st, ANODE and the IONA twin study. He has over 40 peer reviewed publications in the field of fetal ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis.Dr Angelo Cavallaro is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He studied medicine at the University of Naples Federico II in Italy, where he also completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 2015, he finished his subspecialist training in Fetal Medicine. Angelo completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health, University of Oxford. He earned his PhD in Medicine in 2024 and is actively involved in various research projects focused on maternal, fetal, and perinatal health. His primary research interests include fetal growth, management of complications of monochorionic twin pregnancy, diagnosis of Placenta Accreta Spectrum and prediction of neonatal adverse outcomes.
