Banished from home, Agoro roamed from rural to urban wilderness. He was guided by a lunatic at critical stages of his journey, until he made the discovery of a lifetime. The lunatic wanted one thing in return: Agoro must go back to Ilutoro, his birth place, and prove to the natives that the traditional ruler was vile and must pay for his deeds. The lunatic handed Agoro several proofs, one of which was dear and personal to him. But it was impossible for Agoro to return. Banished for breaking a taboo, Agoro should have been destroyed by angry spirits of the dead. The natives would think his ghost had returned. Nevertheless, the lunatic insisted Agoro must return to Ilutoro
