After colony 222 goes silent and the shipments stop coming, Major Chnag is sent to investigate. He discovers a little feral girl living among the ruins of the colony and hundreds of decomposed corpses. But the feral child is oblivious to her conditions. Chang discovers something shocking about the girl, but is confused what to do next.
