Notă biografică
Steve Pitkinbegan his photographic career documenting collections of historic scientific instruments, fine art, and rare timepieces. Steve’s love of music took root in his childhood, when he began playing guitar at the age of twelve. Rick Nielsen, lead guitarist of Cheap Trick and 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, invited Steve to photograph his world-famous guitar collection in 1992. The work gained broad recognition, and in 1995, Fender commissioned him to photograph its Custom Shop Guitar Gallery. Steve lives, in Rockford, Illinois.
