Fear is a feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence or imminence of danger. It is a feeling of disquiet, anxiety, dread, or apprehension. Fear is also defined as extreme reverence, awe, or respect. Everyone has, at one time or another, encountered this emotion of fear. No one is exempt. Many experience it daily. People are afraid of various things - dying, public speaking, flying, rejection, success, failure, animals, bugs - the list is endless.
